Founded almost 16 years go, Baguette Cafe is a Las Vegas favorite with a mission “to bring the vibrant cafe culture of France to our community.” With locations on Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue, the brand is preparing to expand to a third location, this time at 211 S Las Vegas Blvd, Suite 110, a block away from Fremont Street, according to licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas.

“We’re waiting on a few pieces [of equipment],” owner Olivier Brouillet told What Now on Wednesday. “So we’re thinking that in 5 weeks or so we should be able to start training the staff.”

Brouillet says you’ll be able to find your Baguette Cafe favorites at the new location—the Smoked Salmon Croissant, the Paris Ham & Swiss Croissant, quiches, pastries, smoothies juices, coffee, and lots more. But there will also be a few exciting changes. To begin with, Brouillet says the new location is bigger than the brand’s existing cafes, and that it will feature some surprise additions to the menu.

“Not new menu items,” Brouillet clarified. “New menu categories.”

For the moment these new lines of items are a secret that we promised to keep. But we can confirm: they sound awesome.
