Get ready Delaware Cainiacs, your chicken dreams are about to come true. Raising Cane’s, the poultry chain that has taken America by storm over the past few years, is opening a new Dover location later this year, reports Delaware Online.

The fast-casual powerhouse will be serving up its made-to-order 1151 North Dupont Highway. The 3,300 square foot restaurant will be taking over the lot that previously housed the recently demolished Boston Market. The latter establishment had occupied that space since 1996.

Local Raising Cane’s fans cannot yet mark a precise date on their calendars to denote when they can enjoy a chicken feast, however a company representative confirms that the shop is intending to open this autumn.

Raising Cane’s first began delighting customers in Baton Rouge in 1996. The chain has become a national favorite, with over 850 locations open across the country. The restaurant keeps its loyal customers coming back through its simple but effective menu. Cane’s serves either chicken fingers or sandwiches, alongside crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, or cole slaw.
