Dessert truck turning to brick and mortar storefront April 11.
Yum Yum Dessert Co., formerly Yum Yum Cupcake & More, is opening a storefront in the Powers Ferry Square complex Buckhead at 3792 Roswell Road, the dessert shop announced in a press release Wednesday.
The shop is slated to open on Friday April 11, according to the release. This space is the first brick and mortar store for Yum Yum Dessert Co.
“Yum Yum has been very fortunate to build on the success of our trucks thanks to the support of our loyal customers,” Nadia DeMessa, Yum Yum’s owner, said in the release.
“I look forward to providing a permanent and convenient location to purchase our fresh, homemade desserts and Buckhead was the perfect fit for our first storefront.”
The new location will boast an array of homemade macarons, sundaes, pastries, ice cream sandwiches and espresso drinks.
Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. on Fri., April 11. Grand opening activities will follow for the next week and include dessert samplings, sweet takeaways and live music. Complimentary mini cupcakes will be provided to the first 100 customers.
The new storefront will house over 500 square feet of space including a full-service dessert and espresso counter, indoor and outdoor seating and complimentary Wi-Fi, the release notes.
