A new eatery is coming to Kirkwood.
Kirkwood Kravingz Takeout & Kocktails is planned for 1989 Hosea L Williams Drive SE at a space formerly occupied by Subway.
The restaurant will feature American cuisine classics like burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and breakfast burritos alongside vegan options and unique items like fried mushrooms.
It will focus heavily on tasty takeout and lots of beverage options.
“When you’re waiting for your lunch, you can have a nice cocktail while you’re waiting,” owner and chef Alexis Sewell told What Now Atlanta.
This isn’t Sewell’s first business; she also owns Southern Queenz, a brunch and dinner restaurant that’s located about a mile away from where Kirkwood Kravingz will be.
“I want to bring something new to the area,” Sewell said.
