Flower Child is planning a third Atlanta-area, this time in West Midtown.

Parent company Fox Restaurant Concepts Wednesday filed a permit application with the City of Atlanta to buildout the eatery in space most recently occupied by J. Crew, at 1170 Howell Mill Bldg C, which sits adjacent the recently-opened Aziza and Falafel Nation.

An estimated $800,000 will be spent converting the former 3,200-square-foot, standalone retail space, into Flower Child, according to the official filing.

Flower Child reps on Wednesday confirmed the news in a telephone conversation with What Now Atlanta (WNA) but the company’s spokesperson was not immediately available to comment.

Rumors in mid-2019 started circulating that the True Food Kitchen sister eatery had secured space on the Westside for the location, but reps for the Jamestown development at the time ignored WNA’s requests for comment.

An opening timeline has not yet been disclosed.

Flower Child has two existing Atlanta-area locations in Buckhead and in Sandy Springs.
