Atlanta-based Stein Investment Group, the firm behind the proposed Red Rose Silos development in Chamblee, alongside apartment company Atlantic Residential, are pitching another mixed-use development for the City.
The yet-to-be-named project would include 320 apartments and roughly 5,400 square feet of restaurant and retail space, according to a zoning application filed with the City of Chamblee, and would span 3.4 acres across several addresses: 2185 and 2191 American Industrial Way; 3483, 3491, 3497, Chamblee Dunwoody Way; and 3492, 3500, 3510, 3512 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
Key features of the proposed mixed-use include a rooftop amenity deck, two courtyards, and a fitness center.
Jason Linscott, Stein’s chief investment officer, confirmed the plans in an email to What Now Atlanta (WNA) Monday.
While Linscott was unable to comment further on the project “until we get through the zoning process,” he did tell WNA that “Downtown Chamblee Residential,” the name on the City filing, is a “placeholder.”
“The ultimate name will pay homage to Chamblee,” Linscott said.
Linscott also mentioned that the “Red Rose Silos plan is continuing, although the pandemic has slowed leasing progress down as you would imagine!”
Developing…
