Slutty Vegan’s Old Fourth Ward location is getting closer to opening its doors albeit nearly eight months behind schedule. Brightly painted yellow signage recently went up at the space, covering the restaurant’s forthcoming storefront, as shown in the above image, captured by nearby business owner Grant Henry of the recently-expanded CHURCH bar.

Owner Pinky Cole, who last month opened a location of the ever-popular Vegan eatery in Jonesboro, on Sunday was not immediately available to comment on the new location when reached by What Now Atlanta. In mid-July, a rep for the restaurant said a late-summer opening was in the cards but an exact opening timeline has not been revealed.

Sitting adjacent to Edgewood Pizza, at 482 Edgewood Avenue SE, Slutty Vegan replaces Peaceful Clouds, a smoke shop that relocated to the East Atlanta Village in February.

Cole launched Slutty Vegan only two years ago as a delivery service via social media and eventually became a food truck. With its ever-growing fanfare, Cole quickly opened the first Slutty Vegan brick-and-mortar last year and by the end of 2020 will have at least three locations including the forthcoming Old Fourth Ward outpost.
