A local boutique is working on a second location in northwest Atlanta.

According to a building permit application, Hand In Pocket is being built out in an existing tenant space at 3535 Northside Parkway. The location is at the Paces Ferry Plaza, which also has a Whole Foods.

The space for the store is 2,363 square feet, according to the application. The work includes new partitions, doors and interior finishes.

Hand In Pocket has a flagship location in Smyrna, at 1675 Cumberland Parkway SE. The store, which opened in 2006, sells women’s clothing, shoes and accessories both online and at the Smyrna boutique. The mission of the brand is “to provide effortless and chic pieces for the everyday woman.”

Owner Mona Ariza said the new location is expected to open in March 2024.
