A new Bubbakoo’s Burritos location will officially open in Jonesboro on Jan. 8, 2024.
Tapan Patel owns the new restaurant, located at 2091 Mount Zion Boulevard. This is Patel’s first Bubbakoo’s Burritos restaurant, and the second location of the Mexican-fusion concept in the state as a whole, with another location in Stockbridge.
“Bubbakoo’s is an established brand, and it has been for more than 15 years,” Patel said in a news release. “It is exciting to take a concept with such a loyal following and build upon it within the Georgia market. The Jonesboro community deserves a restaurant concept that offers great food, a welcoming ambiance and excellent service, and Bubbakoo’s will do just that.”
The new Bubbakoo’s Burritos offers the classic menu items the brand is known for such as the recently renamed Papi Hibachi (hibachi style steak and shrimp) burrito, Nashville burrito, Burritodilla, customizable entrees and more.
“After the success of our location in Stockbridge and seeing the love for Bubbakoo’s in the community, we knew we wanted to continue to expand in Georgia,” Bubbakoo’s Burritos co-founder Bill Hart said. “I have no doubt that Tapan will follow the high standards we have set and provide a fantastic dining experience for the Jonesboro community.”
Bubbakoo’s Burritos was founded in 2008, with the first store in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, and has since grown to more than 100 locations across 16 states.
