Visitors to Greenbriar Mall will have a new dining option when JJ’s Fish and Chicken opens at the shopping center in southwest Atlanta.

The restaurant is planned for the mall at 2841 Greenbriar Pkwy SW, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The scope of work includes a remodel of the dining area and the replacement of fixtures, tile, flooring and paint. The space is approximately 5,400 square feet, according to the application. Plans show a dining area and a condiment area.

JJ’s Fish and Chicken was founded in 1982 in Chicago. The menu includes chicken tenders, seafood, sandwiches and cheesesteaks. The restaurant has more than 130 locations, with several in Atlanta.

It’s not yet clear when the new location will open, but a Greenbriar Mall directory indicates that JJ’s Fish and Chicken is “coming soon.”

A1 General Services is listed as the owner.

On return 2nd visit complained to black female mgr who denied restitution without that several weeks old what was supposed to be a fish fillet but was crispy fried meal and she implied cooks don’t know English, I suppose that’s my fault vs hers, old Dixie forest park never returned to that location.
