Husband and wife team Geoff and Katie Melkonian, the restauranteurs behind Breadwinner Cafe and Bakery in Sandy Springs, are moving forward with plans to open Farm to Ladle in Ponce City Market (PCM).

Plans were filed with City of Atlanta Tuesday for the European-style cafe and farmstand that will retail locally sourced raw vegetables, herbs, spices, soups, salads, and sandwiches, at 675 Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Farm to Ladle will open in the mixed-use development’s Central Food Hall in a 903-square-foot space.

An estimated $275,000 will be spent on the restaurant’s buildout.

Farm to Ladle should open later this year, according to the PCM website.
