An ambitious young pizza chain is getting ready to sate McKinney’s hunger. Stoner’s Pizza Joint is rolling out a new location in the area next year, reports Culture Map Dallas.
The pizzeria’s McKinney address hasn’t been announced yet, however it is slated to open at some point in 2026. The storefront will be one of four opened and helmed by franchisee Wakaas Abdrazak. Abdrazak opened a Stoner’s in Rowlett in 2024 and another in Fort Worth on April 2 of this year. Next up is an East Dallas eatery at 2335 North Fitzhugh Ave. #10.
Stoner’s made its debut on the crowded pizza scene in 2013 in Savannah, Georgia. The chain has expanded to include 50 storefronts spread over six states.
Abdrazak explains why he was compelled to bring the pizzeria to the DFW region, stating: “We were looking to bring something new to the market that was different than other pizzerias. What impressed me about the group in charge of it is they have a background of doing this business for 30-40 years and know everything from scratch.”
