Arlington diners, get ready to enjoy breakfast for dinner…and lunch…and breakfast. 24-hour Southern favorite Waffle House is beginning construction on a new Tarrant County location this summer.

Locals will be able to satisfy late night cravings at the chain’s new 4462 South Collins Street home. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work will commence on the location on August 1 of this year, and should wrap by February 2 of 2026. While this does not provide a precise opening timeline, it does suggest that Waffle House may be serving up pancakes and bacon by next spring.

The completed project-described as “new construction”-will provide the restaurant with 1,840 square feet of space to serve up its signature fare.

Waffle House has been a cult favorite since it entered the Georgia dining scene in 1955. The intervening 65 years have seen the brand expand and explode to include 2,021 storefronts across 25 U.S. states.
