Frisco will soon be alive with the smells and tastes of the Mediterranean. Selda Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar, helmed by prolific DFW restaurateur Habip Kargin, is bringing authentic Turkish cuisine to the neighborhood later this year, reports Culture Map Dallas.
The celebrated restaurant concept will be taking over the storefront at 9250 Dallas Pkwy. #130 that previously housed Rotolos Pizzeria. Kargin and his crew have upgraded the space, adding fresh furniture, new countertops, and updated flooring tiles.
Selda Mediterranean has not yet announced an opening date, saying only in the April 1 social media post introducing the restaurant that the Frisco eatery is “coming soon”.
Future regulars can look forward to a sophisticated drink menu, complete with signature cocktails, alongside Selda’s delicious dinner offerings including Turkish flatbreads and skewers.
Frisco has proven itself to be a cultural center on-the-grow, and Kargin is eager to bring his latest to the region. He states: “Frisco’s enjoying rapid growth with a vibrant community, and includes many of our regular customers.”
