A barber shop is in the works in Duluth.
Carlucho Barbershop is planned for 3230 Steve Reynolds Boulevard, according to a building permit application with Gwinnett County. The 1,100-square-foot space is located at Nukoa Plaza, a two-story shopping center. According to the application, they plan to take one wall down and combine two suites into one.
The barbershop can currently be found in Lawrenceville at 1812 N Brown Road. It’s not yet clear if the Duluth shop is an additional location, or if they are relocating from Lawrenceville.
Carlucho Barbershop LLC was created in October 2023, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. The shop was named a Best of Georgia Regional Winner in 2024.
A translated description of Carlucho Barbershop indicates that the company is “dedicated to changing lives with its art and maintaining an impeccable appearance for anyone.” They also have location in Venezuela.
