A new restaurant looks to be opening in one of Clearwater Beach’s hotels. This week, What Now came across paperwork showing a restaurant called Jimmy’s Island Grill opening at 40 Devon Drive. The paperwork was submitted by Decade Sea Captain LLC.
Behind Decade Sea Captain LLC is Jeff Keierleber, president of Decade Properties. Keirleber is the owner of the recently opened ChartHouse Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel.
The address in question is shared by both Sea Captain Resort on the Bay and ChartHouse Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel. Decade Properties owns both hotels, but as ChartHouse is still finishing up construction, it’s the more likely home for Jimmy’s Island Grill.
Details on the restaurant are still scarce. What Now reached out Michael Laus, Director of Food & Beverage at Decade Properties, to ask about plans for Jimmy’s Island Grill. Laus could not be immediately reached for comment.
