Xin Ding Dumpling is continuing to grow as they are eying another new location.

The restaurant which currently has a location at 71 SW 2nd Portland Avenue and is applying for a second one is looking for a third location in Vancouver. In April, owner Ming Liang applied for a liquor license at 7135 SE Milwaukie Avenue at the Dairy Hill Ice Cream location. Now, according to an article from The Oregonian, they have put in an application for 4720 NE Thurston Way, which was the home of Shari’s Cafe & Pies.

“Recently, we are doing construction,” Liang told What Now Portland.

Items on the menu of the current restaurant include kung pao chicken, orange chicken, lunch beef, lamb, seafood and tofu dumplings. There is also dim sum, soup, noodles, chow mein and soft drinks. Liang said he will have virtually the same menus for the new locations,

Liang did not want to confirm a date of opening, but sometime in June is when they will open their doors. This will be right across from the Vancouver Mall. He will join other dumpling restaurants in the Vancouver area including The Noodle Bar Thai Street Food and Great Taste Chinese Restaurant.
