Another Shipley Do-Nuts shop is coming to the northwest Houston area and is confirmed for 21910 West Rd #200, Cypress, TX 77433. It’s being developed by Lillian Lee and her mother, Lianne Chang, who are no strangers to the brand. Chang has been a multi-unit operator for years, with this marking her 15th store overall.
“The location on Grand Parkway and West will be the next location,” Lee confirmed. “We are still waiting for the landlord to finish their construction before we can start.” The shop is expected to take over a 1,578-square-foot space, which will be fully renovated to meet Shipley Do-Nuts’ standard interior buildout. According to permits filed with the city, the remodel will cover mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, with an estimated cost of $250,000.
This new store follows on the heels of another project already in the works. Chang’s 14th location is currently under construction at 22610 FM2920 Rd in Hockley, continuing the family’s steady expansion across the region. It’s clear that Lee and Chang are building something larger than just a donut shop, but are developing a lasting local presence.
If all goes according to plan, construction for the Cypress location is expected to begin in August 2025 with a project completion date set for October 2025.
