What Now has been following the growth of Vegas born sushi brand Top Sushi & Oyster for some years now, having reported news of the brand’s first expansion, to Enterprise, all the way back in December 2021. Later, late last spring, came news of a third location destined for West Warm Springs and South Durango. And then, What Now San Diego reported on news of an expansion to Clairemont, CA.

While there’s still no further news about the first California location or the Warm Springs location, Top Sushi has plans for another new location in Vegas. Licensing paperwork was submitted to Clark County by Top Management Sahara LLC for a Top Sushi restaurant at 7293 W Sahara Ave., Unit 4.

“Top Sushi & Oyster Restaurant has been delighting customers with our impeccable food and excellent service for four decades!” says the restaurant’s website. “Our talented chefs use only fresh ingredients to prepare each dish with care and attention to detail. We take great pride in every creation we serve, and we’re always happy to customize dishes to your exact preferences.”

The Top Sushi menu features rolls like Yellowtail Lover and the Albacore Delight (plus many more), alongside dishes from the grill, which include Grilled Miso Mackerel, Chicken Teriyaki, Bulgogi, and Spicy Pork.

What Now reached out on Thursday to Top Sushi & Oyster owner Hyoungjoon Lim to ask about plans for the new Top Sushi. Lim was not immediately available for comment.
