Award-Winning Food Truck Birria Bros Opening First Brick-and-Mortar

With its “unmatched homestyle recipe,” Birria Bros Tacos has grown from a COVID-era backyard project to an award-winning food truck. And now, it’s preparing to launch its first brick-and-mortar restaurant.

“We started in the COVID years, around 2020,” co-owner Jason Espinoza told What Now on Thursday. “It started in my brother’s backyard, pickup orders from there. It was all following our mother’s recipes, which we really believed in. After a while, we saved up enough to get a little for trailer.”

Then the hustle really began, when Birria Bros started putting in appearances at various Las Vegas events and music festivals.

“We transitioned over to the food truck, but we continued onto the same events, things of that nature. Now we’ve just got our first brick-and-mortar, along with the food truck, and we’ve been working on that for the last few months.”

Two favorites from the Birria Bros menu, Espinoza says, are the 3 quesabirria tacos and the crispy quesadilla birria. It’s a menu that has gotten the brand voted Vegas’s best birria three times running.

Birria Bros Tacos will open at 3720 E Sunset Road, Suite 103, on June 10, so mark your calendar and get ready for Vegas’s best birria!
