It’s not even a year since What Now reported on the then-upcoming opening of Italian restaurant Brunello LV at 9320 Sun City Blvd in Summerlin. Brunello has since opened and currently boasts 4.5 stars on Google.
“Drawing inspiration from the timeless grace of Sophia Loren and the vibrant spirit of coastal Italy, Brunello brings you the best of both worlds—rich Italian and European flavors served in a warm, welcoming atmosphere,” says that restaurant’s website.
Why are we bringing this up? Well, as it happens, the team behind Brunello (and behind Kirkland, Washington’s Chianti Italian Restaurant, too) already appears to be at work on another new Italian restaurant.
This week, What Now came across licensing paperwork submitted to Clark County by Brunello LLC for a new restaurant called Cantinetta Pizza & Pasta, opening at 3665 S Fort Apache Road.
“Cantinetta is a branch of Brunello,” owner Inga Davidian told What Now in an email conversation. “It will have a bit of a different approach, but will mainly remain Italian.”
Cantinetta will be open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, launching in a space that will feature an open kitchen and a dedicated bar area.
“This time we chose a more modern approach towards the buildout and have included a lot of modern art with the help of AI featuring famous Italians.”
There will also be live music on weekends featuring local artists.
And what’s on the menu?
“Cantinetta will have more fresh pasta, with more variety of homemade pizza on the menu,” says Davidian. The restaurant will also “showcase a dessert line and Italian Gelato, along with Italian frappes.”
Keep an eye out for Cantinetta Pizza & Pasta launching just in time for autumn. Davidian says Brunello’s sister restaurant is working toward an opening in September.
