A former Bucks county cinema space is clearing the way for the region to get its first taste of a New England-favorite chain. Burtons Grill & Bar has signed a lease for a storefront in the up-and-coming Barn Plaza shopping center, reports The Patch.

The restaurant has received approval from the Doylestown Township Board of Supervisors for an inter-municipal liquor license transfer from New Hope to 1745 South Easton Road, where Burtons has signed a lease. The storefront will be the concept’s first location in Bucks County.

Once opened, the restaurant-focused on crafting delicious American cuisine-will occupy a total 6,200 square feet, with 1,200 of those square feet dedicated to an outdoor patio area. Burtons will have space to seat up to 140 customers inside and another 75 will be able to enjoy their drinks and meals al fresco.

Burtons is still in the early phases of development, making it impossible to project an opening for the Doylestown location.

Burtons Grill & Bar first entered the restaurant scene in 2005. Fueled by scratch-made interpretations of American favorites, the chain has expanded to 22 locations across the U.S.
