The inspection at Nifty Fifty’s on June 27 identified multiple violations. Food residue of lemon juice was observed in the handwash sink of the facility. A personal beverage item was found by the inspector on the prep counter.

There was an accumulation of food residue on food contact surfaces, specifically the can opener. The inspector also found that chicken stored in the walk-in refrigerator was being held at 54 degrees F instead of the required 41 degrees F or lower.

The floor in the dry storage area was observed to be unsealed. The steps leading to the storage area on the first floor had a significant accumulation of grease and dust.
