After months of anticipation leading up to its debut, East Village newcomer Bateman’s is shaking things up again—this time with an innovative omakase-style cocktail tasting menu that adds a new level of creativity and curation to New York’s cocktail scene.

Available by reservation only, the new experience invites guests to the bar Sunday through Wednesday for a prix fixe lineup of five mini cocktails, each crafted and presented with in-depth descriptions from the bartender behind the stick. The $60 experience (plus tax and tip) also includes small bites and surprise giveaways, with the menu rotating roughly every six weeks.

“We’re aiming to bring storytelling, technique, and a little bit of theater to the bar,” said Carlo Olcese, director of operations at Bateman’s, in an email to Whatnow New York. “This is more than just a cocktail flight—it’s an immersive experience.”

The program officially launched last week with a press preview in partnership with Deep Eddy Vodka and has already garnered early buzz on social media. According to the team’s Instagram post, “Our one of a kind, rotating omakase menu is now available for you! … Your dedicated bartender will walk you through the drinks, and even share some small snacks.”

Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected]. Bateman’s is located at 308 E 6th Street.
