Known for its charming German Village setting and globally inspired dishes, Chapman’s Eat Market operated for five years. In an Instagram post, the team announced the lease is ending just as the restaurant approaches its five-year anniversary. TWith the lease ending, the team made the difficult decision to close. An exact closing date will be shared in the coming weeks.
For now, the local community can visit the German Village-based establishment seven days a week till July 12. Chapman’s Eat Market will be open for regular service hours for this period.
About the Columbus-based Restaurant
The restaurant opened in August 2020, during the height of the pandemic. Known for bold, globally inspired flavors, the menu reflects a mix of international influences.
Signature dishes include General Tso’s Cauliflower, Khao Soi, and Kohlrabi Fukumeni – a dish inspired by South African flavors. Patrons visit the German Village restaurant for wine and cocktails as well.
