It’s more than a year and half since What Now reported the news that popular local food truck Empanada Factory had plans to open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant. The opening has been a big success, and the eatery, which serves up Argentinian-empanadas, currently boasts 4.9 stars on Google maps. It’s located at 9320 W Flamingo Road, Suite 2.
Now, the brand looks to be building on its success with a second location. Building permit paperwork has been submitted to Clark County for a new Empanada Factory, which would open at 6593 S Las Vegas Blvd, part of the thriving Town Square Las Vegas Development.
The brand’s empanada flavors include Ranchera (Ground beef, black beans, chorizo), Hawaiian Adobo (Marinated pork, pineapple), and Beefless 100& vegan—plus sweet varieties like Nutella Brownie and Cinnamon Apple.
“LOVE AT FIRST BITE…” says the restaurant’s website. “We cook the BEST empanadas in Las Vegas, made with fresh and natural ingredients. Empanadas are the perfect finger food for any event or party. We are proud to serve a flavor for everybody.”
What Now reached out to co-owner Emiliano Bernasconi on Friday to ask about plans for a Town Square Empanada Factory. Bernasconi was not immediately available for comment.
