Located on Owens Avenue, between J Street and H Street, Edmond Town Center is the future home of upcoming nightlife spot Mamalona Nightclub. This week, What Now came across licensing paperwork submitted to the City of Las Vegas for the new club, which will open at 921 W Owens Ave, Suite 110.
As it happens, Mamalona Nightclub was already in the news late last year, when the Las Vegas City Council approved land use entitlements allowing the club to open in the retail center, waiving the square foot limit and separation requirements from nearby single family homes, churches, and parks, according to coverage by KNTV.
What Now contacted co-owner Berenice Anaya on Friday to ask about plans for the opening. Anaya said it’s still too early to comment on the news, but What Now is awaiting an update by email (so stay tuned).
