Portland Square, a new multi-level dining and nightlife venue by INK Entertainment, is set to open in Toronto at 600 King St. W.
The four-storey concept is a redevelopment of the former members-only club, Clio, and its Mediterranean restaurant, Margo, both of which closed earlier this year, according to BlogTO. Led by founder Charles Khabouth and his Toronto-based hospitality group INK Entertainment, Portland Square marks a shift from exclusivity to accessibility. The venue combines four distinct food and entertainment concepts under one roof, each occupying a separate floor in the building. The official opening is scheduled for July 24, 2025.
Portland Square features a different experience on each of its four floors. The ground level will house Rodeo Dive, a country-themed sports bar. The second floor is reserved for the Portland Room, a private event space. On the third floor, Honey’s Chinese will serve contemporary Chinese cuisine, including dishes like Peking duck two ways and Singapore noodles with char siu and shrimp. The top floor will be home to Prima Donna, an Italian kitchen serving traditional comfort food, including spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parmesan, and thin-crust pizza. The fourth floor also features a rooftop patio.
INK Entertainment, which is headquartered in both Toronto and Miami, is a major player in Canada’s hospitality industry. The company operates a range of restaurants, nightclubs, and entertainment venues. In Toronto, INK operates several well-known concepts, including Beso by Patria, a Spanish restaurant that replaced the original Patria, and Rebel, a large-scale nightclub and concert venue situated on the waterfront. The company is known for combining food, music, and design in its venue offerings.
