Ray Ray’s Hog Pit is bringing its award-winning barbecue to downtown Johnstown with a new full-service restaurant at 49½ South Main Street. The new spot is scheduled to open August 15 and will be the latest expansion for the popular Central Ohio barbecue brand.
Known for its hardwood-smoked meats and Southern-style comfort food, Ray Ray’s has built a strong following through its food trucks and carryout locations across the Columbus area. This new Johnstown location will be the brand’s second sit-down restaurant, following a recent debut in Marion.
Guests can expect a menu that features fan favorites like smoked wings, brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese, and specialty appetizers. The space will also include a full-service bar.
The move into Johnstown marks a continued evolution for the barbecue joint, which first launched in 2009. With its mix of bold flavors, casual atmosphere and slow-cooked tradition, Ray Ray’s is set to become a go-to spot for locals and barbecue lovers alike.
