“Alchemist Rising?” read a post published on ChinatownVegas.com back in the spring. “Full Bar & Restaurant Coming to Former Hell’s Chicken Spot!”

Alchemist is indeed the name of the restaurant opening next to Shanghai Plaza, at 4300 Spring Mountain Road, Suite 101-102. Licensing paperwork has been submitted to Clark County by Konnection Hospitality LLC for the restaurant, whose menu is still under wraps.

“Stirring things up with Alchemist!” the ChinatownVegas.com coverage continues. “It’s not yet confirmed yet if Vincent Lam and his team, formerly of Hell’s Chicken, are rebranding the space at 4225 Spring Mountain Rd—in the plaza next door from Shanghai Plaza—into a restaurant with a full bar called ‘Alchemist.’”

As a matter of fact, it is confirmed! What Now reached out to Vincent Lam on Friday to ask about the opening, and while the menu has yet to be revealed, Lam did confirm news of the opening.

Stay tuned, because What Now is awaiting an update with more details.
