Local boba chain Queen Tea has a spot on the way to Athens, according to its website. It is slated to go in at 151 East Broad St. Owner Joleen Dai confirmed the forthcoming location in a phone call with What Now Atlanta.

The boba chain is actively expanding throughout the Atlanta area. What Now Atlanta recently reported that a Queen Tea shop is slated to join The Hurt Building, as well as another shop that is planned for The Hadley Building.

It already has locations in Town Center Plaza and The Avenue West Cobb.

Queen Tea aims to bring an authentic Taiwanese bubble tea experience to Atlanta. The menu offers milk teas featuring a variety of flavors from rose jasmine to honeydew. The menu also features fruit teas, coffees and Taiwanese street food such as dumplings and spring rolls.

The Athens location is listed as “coming soon” on the website. When the three forthcoming locations open up this year, Queen Tea will have five spots.
