JRI Hospitality, the company behind the popular Valley favorite Chompie’s, is bringing Mokas Coffee and Eatery to Phoenix.

It’s unclear when or where the company will establish its presence in Phoenix, but plans are in place for both corporate-owned and franchised locations, according to the Phoenix Business Journal. Mokas began in Salina, Kansas, in 2005 and has earned a strong reputation for serving high-quality coffee, fresh food, and offering warm hospitality. Mokas is known for training its baristas extensively. Over a 14-day program, baristas learn the art of coffee cupping, tasting, and brewing to ensure every drink is made with precision. This dedication to quality helps Mokas stand out in a competitive coffee market.

The menu features specialty drinks like Toffee Cream, Nutty Irishman, and Golden Marshmallow. Customers can also enjoy brewed coffee, frappes, smoothies, refreshers, energy drinks, and classic options like cappuccinos and lattes. Each drink is crafted with quality ingredients to deliver rich and satisfying flavors. Mokas continually innovates its menu to keep customers excited about new and unique beverages.

The food menu offers all-day breakfast, crafted sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and pastries. Popular choices include the Fiesta Breakfast Burrito, Avocado Toast, and the Classic Reuben sandwich. Mokas provides a variety of fresh options for breakfast and lunch that appeal to a wide range of tastes. Their meals are designed to complement their beverage offerings perfectly.

Founded in 2011, JRI Hospitality owns and operates over 80 restaurants in 15 states, including Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Mokas Cafe, The Original Grande, and Chompie’s Restaurants. The company is projected to expand its reach with 20 projects per year, ensuring that everyone in the United States can enjoy its line of brands. JRI Hospitality continues to expand its diverse portfolio, focusing on quality and guest satisfaction.
