First Watch Soon to Open River Forest Location
River Forest residents and visitors now have a new option for made-to-order breakfast and brunch with First Watch. The restaurant follows its ‘Follow the Sun’ philosophy, rotating its menu five times a year.
The menu updates classic breakfast and brunch dishes using seasonal ingredients. The restaurant also believes in making a positive impact on communities through its various donations.
A proud recipient of several awards, including 2024’s “#1 Most Loved Workplace,” the restaurant is also unique in its approach to employee engagement. The new River Forest location opens September 1 with special offers during its first week.
Special Offers During Opening Week
First Watch brings a modern take on breakfast and brunch, making it a favorite among many. Now, opening at 7215 Lake Street, it is bringing fan favorites in a 3,900-square-foot space. The opening week is special for the restaurant, and to celebrate this, it is offering unlimited Project Sunrise coffee.
Visitors can access the offer with their meal from Monday, September 1, to Friday, September 5. Project Sunrise coffee is coffee sourced from women farmers based in South America.
The Unique Experience of Daytime Dining
With approximately 30 people operating the restaurant, every item on the menu is carefully prepared for guests. The River Forest team starts each morning with juicing fresh fruits and vegetables. Meanwhile, the kitchen, without heat lamps, microwaves, or deep fryers, uses fresh ingredients to make its iconic dishes.
Following the position of the sun, the restaurant sources fresh ingredients to make its revolving seasonal menu. The seasonal menu, updated five times a year, features fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The first seasonal menu of the River Forest location will be offered in Winter 2025.
Diners can enjoy familiar favorites such as omelets, along with innovative dishes like Avocado Toast, Farmhouse Hash, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, and Million Dollar Bacon. The Superfood Kale Salad is another item that is highly recommended.
First Watch in River Forest will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., starting September 1. With more than 160 seats, a covered patio, and an interior bar, this is the perfect place for a relaxed morning.
