The fast-casual dining scene has enjoyed countless innovations and reinventions over the years, but few have spurred the sort of originality and variety that the bowl era has brought to the table. Branded Bowls, a concept which filters the assembly line dish construction through a Tex-Mex lens, is preparing to be Flower Mound’s next favorite permutation of the model. The restaurant from founders Brian Gasperson and Marty Bryan will be opening its second location in the neighborhood later this year, reports Community Impact.Â
Branded Bowls will be taking over the space at 2451 Lakeside Parkway, Suite 100, that housed Craft Pies Pizza until its closure in January of this year. Gasperson kindly confirmed with What Now Dallas that his team is planning to have the restaurant up and running by early October of this year.
DFW residents who simply cannot wait to try Branded Bowls’ fare can stop in for a bowl at the existing location in Argyle.
Branded Bowls invites guests to follow six easy steps to create their ideal meal: choose a grain, pick beans, select a meat, add toppings, pick a sauce, and finally select a dressing. While this process may seem familiar to diners by now, many of the ingredients the restaurant offers are certainly not. For example, Branded Bowls offers cauliflower rice alongside more conventional starch options. Guests can choose barbacoa alongside brussel sprouts and chimichurri sauce.
