Just months after opening on Music Row, Silver Fox Coffee Lounge is preparing to open its second location, according to a release. It will open in a 1,650-square-foot space at CityPark in Brentwood later this year.
Co-owners Todd and Danielle Barnett opened their first location just this April, and they have already been hearing feedback from customers seeking expansion.
“We’ve had a really strong response to our formula,” Todd told What Now Nashville. “As we opened and started talking to customers, more and more we started having coffee lovers coming from the south.”
Todd, a tech entrepreneur turned coffee entrepreneur, said they have aimed to refine four elements — high-quality coffee, customer experience, fresh pastries and chef-driven food — to set themselves apart in the market.
“I think there’s a real opportunity in Nashville,” Todd said. “I think people really appreciate when people do something unique and high-end, and focus on excellence. So our goal has been to bring that forward.”
The Barnetts focus first and foremost on providing quality coffee to customers.
“I think there’s a lot of good coffee in Nashville, but we really wanted to raise the bar,” Todd said.
The menu features handcrafted espresso beverages like The Cherish (a honey lavender latte) and The Dizzy G (a rosemary black cardamom latte with a ginger citrus punch). It also offers pour over, cold brew and tea options.
The Barnetts also place emphasis on elevating the customer experience so people will want to come back again and again.
“We have an incredible team who care about our customers and [we know] that when they deliver a coffee to them that it’s going to be something that’s special and it’s something they’re going to want to come back for,” Todd said.
In addition to their drink menu, Silver Fox Coffee Lounge offers fresh pastries baked in-house daily as well as food items like avocado toast and whipped ricotta and fruit tartines. They also serve freshly made sourdough, a favorite of Todd’s.
The new location will feature all of these offerings, alongside an aesthetic similar to the Music Row location. Expect to see black-and-white checkerboard floors, wood elements and white countertops in the design.
Currently, the team is going through the permitting process for the Brentwood location and buildout is still to come. The team is aiming for a mid-December opening.
