More waffles are on the horizon for DFW diners who don’t believe that breakfast foods should be limited to only the morning hours. Waffle House-an entire culinary and cultural icon unto itself-has filed paperwork for a new Princeton location.
Locals will have to wait a spell before being able to enjoy the chain’s beloved Southern breakfast cuisine at West Princeton Drive. Paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that work is not set to begin until November 1 of next year and should be concluded by March 1 of 2027, allowing fans plenty of time to build up an appetite.
The ground-up construction will ultimately provide Waffle House with 1,840 square feet of space in which to serve customers.
The Georgia-headquartered chain first began serving customers in 1955. It was since become an absolute titan of the restaurant industry, expanding to include more than 2,000 locations across the United States, with a rampant and ardent fan following.
