Zippy’s, the beloved Hawaiian fast-casual brand, hasn’t skipped a beat since making landfall on the Ninth Island. Word got out earlier this year about a new Zippy’s planned for Henderson—the brand’s third in the valley.

Meanwhile, last month, a building permit was issued for a work on a new Zippy’s at 10810 W Charleston Boulevard. The site is part of a retail center between Canyon Pointe and South Pavilion Center Drive. It’s home to restaurants like BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Distill, Freed’s Dessert Shop, and L&L Hawaiian BBQ.

“Ask anyone in Hawaii about Zippy’s Restaurants and you will hear real stories about cherished weekly dinners with grandparents, post-surf-session munchies satiated, romances won and lost at the restaurant, and the iconic Zippy’s food that helped them to celebrate it all,” says the Zippy’s website.

Favorites from the menu include the Char Siu Pork Plate (pork marinated in char siu sauce), Char Siu Pork Pac (Hoki, fried wun tun, Portuguese sausage, and pork marinated in char siu sauce), and Teriyaki chicken.

What Now reached out to Zippy’s CEO Jason Higa on Friday to ask about plans for the opening. Higa was not immediately available for comment.
