A bakery company with cafes all around Chicago has landed a new location in Wilmette.

Goddess and the Baker will be opening a new location in Eden’s Plaza at 3232 Lake Avenue early next year. This comes along with the announcement of a Small Cheval location coming to the plaza. Goddess has been in the Chicago area for 10 years, and this will be their seventh cafe.

It was originally reported the bakery would be opening in the fall of this year. However, partner at Goddess and Baker Tamar Mizrahi told What Now Chicago it is now looking like the bakery won’t open until the beginning of next year. According to an article from NBC 5 Chicago, it will occupy the space of the former Corner Bakery, which closed earlier this summer.

Other neighborhoods with Goddess and the Baker locations include River North, Millennium Park, the Loop and on the riverfront. The company also has a presence in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The business has officially been around for 10 years now.

The menus are similar at all of the locations, with seasonal lattes, iced teas, all-day breakfast and baked goods. One of their popular fall menu items is the miso-caramel pumpkin cold foam latte. Goddess also offers gluten-free options and catering.

The new cafe will join Eden’s Plaza businesses such as Five Guys and The Porch American restaurant. More information on Goddess and the Baker can be found on their website goddessandthebaker.com.
