Located at 5697 S Jones Blvd, Suite 160, the Matiki Island Grill at Spanish Palms Plaza is getting a big upgrade. The Spanish Palms location, one of three in Las Vegas (and five overall), is a mainstay for Hawaiian barbecue in the area, and so it has outgrown its current space. The restaurant is preparing to move next door, reopening at 5693 S Jones Boulevard, Suite 114.
“The space used to be Crab Island,” Riandra Doda, a partner in the restaurant, told What Now on Thursday. “So we’re moving from a 1,300-square-foot space to a 5,400-square-foot space. It’ll have a private dining area for parties; it all allows for a lot more options.”
You’ll still find the same popular items: Plates like the Beef Rib “Sam’s Plate” (Our most popular dish! Fall-off-the-bone grilled teriyaki BBQ beef rib charred to perfection!), Galbi, Chicken, Steak, and more. There are also specials like the Big Kahuna (ALL THE GOOD! A heaping portion of teriyaki chicken, grilled teriyaki top sirloin steak & Kalbi short ribs served with rice, macaroni salad & tossed green salad! The perfect family meal!)
And that’s only the beginning: there are also protein bowls like the Chicken Bowl and the Steak Bowl, a kids’ menu, and Dole Soft Serve Ice Cream.
Stay tuned for more details on the big move!
