NoCo is ready to welcome a new sweet destination for a sugar fix: High Desert Chocolates. This family-owned dessert and coffee shop that started in the Pacific Northwest is now calling Colorado home, and is preparing to open at 430 Main Street in Downtown Windsor, K99 reports.

“We’re so excited to bring HDC to Downtown Windsor! This corner location you’ve always loved for coffee and sweet treats will reopen later this fall. High Desert Chocolates started in Sisters, Oregon – we adored our small-town life and community connection. Now, our family and business have officially relocated to Windsor, and we can’t wait to serve you soon,” the brand posted on its social media, announcing the change.

The chocolate, ice cream, and coffee store will take over the space formerly occupied by Windsor Lake Coffee, which is closing at the end of this month after seven years in business. It will serve as a hub for events like private parties, cookie decorating, and paint nights. Planned hours are listed on its website as: Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 7 PM, and Friday through Sunday until 8 PM.

High Desert Chocolates offers a variety of treats, including milkshakes, ice cream, chocolate-covered treats, fondue, macarons, and custom cookies. It will have a full coffee menu and also serve wine. Their online store distributes products nationwide.
