Located in Fort Lauderdale’s Executive Airport, Jet Runway Cafe allows you to “enjoy your favorite cuisines while watching planes take off and touch down on the runway.”
The restaurant serves up a Brunch/Lunch menu that features Breakfast Classics like Triple Stack Pancakes (to which you can add chocolate chips or blueberries), a Breakfast Burrito, and the “First Class” (grill skirt steak, two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes or grits, choice of toast).
That’s alongside brunchier choices like Jet Runway Cafe’s Avocado Toast, Crab Cake Hash (lump crab, breakfast potatoes, peppers, onions, poached eggs, hollandaise) and Chicken ‘N’ Waffles—plus pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and more.
Now the brand appears to be expanding to the Miami-Opa-Locka Airport. Plan review paperwork submitted by Jet Runway Cafe Express LCC shows Jet Runway Cafe Express opening at 15000 NW 44th Avenue in Opa-Locka.
What Now reached out on Wednesday to owner Mike Linder to ask about plans for the Jet Runway Cafe Express. Linder declined to make any immediate comment on the news, but What Now is awaiting more information, so stay tuned.
It’s not yet known how the menu at Jet Runway Cafe Express might be abbreviated or otherwise differ from the one served at Jet Runway Cafe.
