Miss A, an affordable beauty and lifestyle retailer, is preparing to open two new Florida stores at the Mall at Wellington Green in Wellington and Pembroke Lakes Mall in Pembroke Pines. Both locations are listed as “Coming Soon” on the company’s official store locator.
The planned Wellington store will be located inside the Mall at Wellington Green, while the Pembroke Pines location is planned for Pembroke Lakes Mall at 11401 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL 33026. The additions would expand the retailer’s physical store presence in Florida.
Founded in 2013 by husband-and-wife team Jean and Kenneth Baik, Miss A began as an online retailer focused on making beauty products accessible at low prices. The company later expanded into brick-and-mortar retail, opening its first physical store in May 2016.
Based in Dallas, Miss A now operates through its online store, physical retail locations, and wholesale distribution business. The company says it has served more than 25 million customers worldwide.
Miss A’s product range includes makeup, skincare, beauty tools, jewelry, and lifestyle accessories. Customers can find items such as foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, lip products, makeup brushes, beauty sponges, face masks, and skincare products. The retailer generally prices its cosmetics and skincare products between $1 and $10, with many items available for just a few dollars.
The company also develops and sells products through its own beauty brands, including AOA Studio, AOA Skin and A2O Lab. AOA Studio is known for its makeup products and beauty tools, while AOA Skin and A2O Lab offer skincare and beauty products.
Miss A’s low-price approach is supported by its direct relationships with manufacturers and its focus on developing proprietary brands.
Beyond its retail business, Miss A has incorporated charitable initiatives into selected product collections. Its Paw Paw collection supports animal-related causes, while other collections have been associated with initiatives focused on children’s education, women’s opportunities, and waste reduction.
The company’s emphasis on affordable products has helped it develop an audience of shoppers looking for budget-friendly cosmetics and accessories. Its online and physical stores offer customers opportunities to explore a wide selection of beauty products without relying exclusively on higher-priced brands.
Specific opening dates, store sizes, and additional details about the two Florida locations have not yet been announced. WhatNow will update this article as more information becomes available.
