Prime Fish Cellar closed its location in Providence Park in June, with plans for a concept change at the location. An Instagram announcement at the time indicated plans to convert the bottle shop and market, located at 2921 Providence Rd, into a sushi, sake and wine bar.
The team hopes to reopen the location in November, according to reporting by the Charlotte Observer.
Further details remain largely unknown at this time, but the company announced on its website that it is hiring servers and hosts for the forthcoming bar. Expect to see major differences from the former concept.
Prime Fish is also behind Omakase Experience, a sushi restaurant located nearby along Providence Road. At that restaurant, chef Robin Anthony creates seafood dishes made with fish directly imported from Toyosu Fish Market in Tokyo.
Stay tuned for further updates as Prime Fish Cellar grows closer to reopening. What Now Charlotte has plans for an interview with a member of the team to acquire additional details.
