Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant is opening a location at 10525 W. McDowell Road in Avondale. The restaurant, located on the corner of 107th Avenue and McDowell Road, has just been approved for a liquor license and the Cooper’s Hawk website confirms the news with a “coming soon” note.

According to a LinkedIn post by the City of Avondale Economic Development, “Construction on Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant is moving full speed ahead. With the foundation laid and structural framing underway, we’re one step closer to their much anticipated opening in late 2025.

Founded in 2005 by CEO Tim McEnery, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants is celebrating its 20th anniversary. There are currently more than 65 locations throughout the country.

The concept is unique in that it not only offers upscale casual American dining, but each Cooper’s Hawk also encompasses a Napa-style tasting room and retail shop. Guests can dine at the restaurant, have a cocktail at the bar, or experience a guided wine tasting.

In addition, Cooper’s Hawk offers a wine membership program, open to all. The wines are sourced worldwide with the Cooper’s Hawk winemaking team working closely with growers from California, Italy, France, Chile, New Zealand, and Australia. Unlike many wine clubs that require hundreds or thousands of dollars of commitment, Cooper’s Hawk members can purchase as little as one bottle per month.
