Cebada Rooftop Ordered to Close Just Weeks After Reopening

Cebada Rooftop has been a favorite among Coral Gables residents for years. Still, guests have long complained about the steep climb to the rooftop space. Over the years, the faulty elevator has been a constant problem, but not anymore.

Even with recurring elevator issues, Cebada Rooftop continued to welcome diners with warmth and hospitality. The vibe of the restaurant and its delicious Spanish food have remained irresistible. Which is why, despite the tiring climb, the restaurant has become a favorite among many.

But the faulty elevator cannot be overlooked any longer, as it is becoming a more serious issue than ever. To address the issue permanently, the building’s elevator is now undergoing major repairs. So despite the restaurant having reopened just recently, it is looking forward to the elevator getting fixed.

Safety Issues Lead to the Spanish Restaurant’s Closure

With the elevator undergoing some serious repair, Cebada Rooftop will not be serving customers temporarily.

So while the building elevator undergoes repair, Cebada Rooftop will temporarily halt service. Once repairs are complete, Ramos said the team looks forward to welcoming guests back with improved accessibility and the same warm hospitality. This closure is only temporary, and the restaurant will return with more delicious food.

Ramos is already planning a relaunch event and hopes Cebada Rooftop will continue to thrive once the repairs are complete.
