Haltom City diners will soon be able to enjoy a new and interactive dining experience. It’s KBBQ and Shabu Shabu, a Korean buffet experience that’s already won over Grand Prairie, has its sights set on Haltom City, with work set to begin on a new restaurant later this year.

The distinctive barbecue concept is laying down roots at 3940 NE Loop 820 #550. Papers filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that renovations are set to begin on the 6,500 square foot restaurant on December 1 of this year. Locals eager to sample the concepts cuisine still have a bit of a wait ahead of them; work is expected to conclude by December 1 of 2026.

The restaurant is certain to charm diners through its unusual ordering and delivering method; the website explains: “It’s KBBQ & Shabu Shabu brings family and friends together for an unforgettable all-you-can-eat experience. We offer high quality meats with authentic Asian flavors. With the added convenience of a conveyor belt that passes through each table, no more ordering and waiting for your appetizers and vegetables.”
