According to a recently filed permit, Wendy’s is set to open at 2101 North Main Street in the middle of next year.

The fast-food eatery, spearheaded by franchise operator HAZA Food Group, will be a ground-up construction project, featuring a 2,022-square-foot facility with both interior dining and drive-thru service.

What Now Austin reached out to the President and CEO of the HAZA food group, Ali Dhanai, for comment on the opening. He responded, but was not willing to share much information about the opening.

According to the national Wendy’s website, there are currently more than 450 Wendy’s locations in Texas. All of which offer the same dishes the fast-food chain has become known for: Frostys, burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, and of course, its meal deals.

The new location is set to come to Taylor, which is right outside of Austin in Williamson County, is expected to have the same offerings.

The HAZA Food Group is a major franchisee of Wendy’s. The group operates multiple locations across Texas and beyond. The company continues to work towards expanding Wendy’s footprint by offering the quick-service that is highly attractive across the state.

While an official opening date has yet to be shared, you can expect to see this new Wendy’s in Taylor open and dishing out its beloved classic meals by June 2026.
