Franchisees Jay Mathis and Cynthia Lee are preparing to bring The Pickle Pad to Marietta, and with it, the franchise’s food and beverage concept Crave Social Eatery.
The spot, which will be located on the 5,000-square-foot mezzanine in the 50,000-square-foot facility at 3101 Roswell Road, will feature a kitchen and bar and offer chef-driven meals. The menu features shareables such as mozzarella sticks and wings; smoothies; street tacos; sandwiches; burgers; and flatbreads.
The beverage menu features signature cocktails, bottled and draft beers, seltzers and wine.
Mathis told What Now Atlanta that customers will be able to order food from Crave Social Eatery and have it delivered to their court.
Crave Social Eatery adds what Mathis views as a much-needed social and culinary dynamic to what would otherwise be a solely pickleball-focused concept. In addition to the on-site restaurant, the space will also feature social games.
“We’re really trying to create a space that is more than pickleball, where people can hang out and socialize and offer entertainment for the whole family,” Mathis said.
Permitting and construction is still to come for the location. Mathis said they are targeting an opening in summer of 2026.
Additional locations for The Pickle Pad and Crave Social Eatery are on the way to North Carolina, New Jersey and Alabama.
