Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse is set to open its first San Antonio location. According to a recent permit filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new SA Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse is expected to open at 7807 W Loop 1604 N. The location will sit in The Portico at Shaenfield in Bexar County.
Construction is slated to start this December and wrap up in mid-April of next year, the state licensing reads. If all goes well, the 8,416 square-foot Brazilian eatery should open sometime in April or May of 2026.
Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse is run by Jesus and Illiana Salazar. What Now San Antonio briefly spoke with Jesus, who, as you can imagine, was quite busy. What Now SA attempted to chat with Illiana, but wasn’t able to get more details for our readers on this opening before this article’s publication.
Here’s what we do know: the eatery first opened in 2025, according to its website. The Austin location in Cedar Park is their flagship, but as you can see, the Salazars are not stopping there.
The new Bitelo Brazilian Steakhouse at The Portico at Shaenfield is expected to have the same offerings as its debut location in Austin.
Offering a single price for lunch and dinner, customers can pick from prime meat cuts like sirloin, filet mignon, and lamb, to name a few, and hot side dishes.

Allowing its customers to immerse themselves in “the flavors of Brazil with our exquisite churrascaria dining experience, featuring prime cuts of meat expertly carved tableside by our skilled Gaúcho Chefs,” as its website reads.
