A new entertainment-inspired venue Smash Social Club is slated to open in Raleigh later this year. The 9,600-square-foot space at 500 Glenwood Avenue will have a theme centered around ping-pong and other games, according to the Triangle Business Journal. The space was formerly home to Carolina Ale House, which LM Restaurants shuttered earlier this year in order to make way for this novel concept.

On its Instagram page, the brand describes itself as “your new favorite destination for games, drinks and vibes that keep the night going. Every space is made for connection and new memories.”

In addition to ping-pong, Smash Social Club will feature electric darts and shuffleboard. The design of the space will offer a 26-seat bar with plenty of TVs for sports viewing, outdoor terraces with shuffleboard elements, a dart garden with two electric dartboards and a private paddle room with three ping-pong tables and banquet-style seating, according to a post on the brand’s Instagram page.

Menu offerings will include Korean wings, pizzas, tacos, nachos, salads and cocktails.

It will cost customers between $8 and $40 for 90 minutes of play.

LM Restaurants, based in Raleigh, has multiple concepts in its portfolio. Their portfolio includes North Carolina brands including Carolina Ale House, Bluewater Waterfront Grill, Vidrio and Taverna Agora. The hospitality group also owns brands in Florida, including The Cove and Lucky Fish.
